Large and in charge! Almost a really light Pinot — 4 years ago
A brooding Pinot with a deep nose of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, clove, black tea, forest floor, wild mushroom, and hint of barnyard. Plush and savory on the palate with racy acidity and polished tannins. Oak is very well integrated even at this young age.
This is a nicely priced high quality Dundee Hill Pinot. — 4 years ago
Raspberry, Bramble, Purple Flower, Anise, Dried Earth. Bright red fruit, nice acid structure pulls the wine through the palate, iron, mocha, well structured tannins bring a dense, chewy finish that provides ample length and layers. Still has years left. Well done Mr. Sokol-Blosser. — 4 years ago
I have been drinking this for years and each year it has different notes. Great wine, great buy. — 4 years ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of hibiscus, black tea, cloves, and red currants. On the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high lbut velvety) tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of raspberry, red cherry, dried leaves, and wet slate with a long finish. This wine is complex, balanced, and intense. Overall, I would rate this wine as outstanding. — 12 days ago
