An interesting Red blend from Bethlehem.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice long legs.
Tangy finish with medium, round tannins.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, vanilla, wood, earth, barnyard, vegetables, spices, smoke and dark coffee.
Soft and smooth and very enjoyable. Feels like an old world wine.
Had it blind and called Austrian red. Wrong.
Made with local grapes grown around the winery. Organic.
13% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Good wine and whales. 2 of my favs! And part of the proceeds go to the southern right whale sanctuary. <3 — 11 years ago
Poker night with the guys. It’s not quite the same as the real thing, but it’s the best we got right now.
The musk of soil. A sort of fresh sea vitality.
Nice medium body, fresh carbonation. Complex notes of lemon rind, grapefruit, mint, and guava. I can’t decide if the rice vinegar kick at the end is good or eh. — 5 years ago
Superb. Still heaps of black fruit — 6 years ago
Out of this world. This vineyard delivers top fruit. Wine made by a genius. This wine always over delivers — 6 years ago
D3. Very light Chenin. Getting some lemon primarily on the nose. Very light but crisp open yet acidity is restrained. Middle with hints of peach and tangerine. Finishes with more rounded edges than I thought it would. Did what it needed to do to mellow me post lunch! — 6 years ago
Smooth delicious red. One of my favorites! @mullineux&leeu — 8 years ago
Delicious full bodied wine. Lots of dark bramble fruit and earthiness giving nice depth. Black pepper notes on the smooth finish. — 10 years ago
Really smooth and barely tannic. Bell pepper, then raspberries, then a long black-currant finish. So nice with a hunk of parmigiano. — 12 years ago
So delicious. Coffee, chocolate, cherries, beautifully complex. Doesn't need anything with it, although some ginger chocolate is a killer combo. The perfect wine for curling up in front of the fire if you're looking for interest and doing what it says on the bottle! — 5 years ago
Fresh, fruity and still rather young with good body and high alcohol, with little loss of purplish edge yet. Could last another 5+ years, with the supportive soft tannin and acidity underpinning the forward fruit. — 5 years ago
The nose reveals; sweet vanillin, ripe, blackberries, dark cherries, floral blueberries, creamy, blackberries & black plum skin. Black licorice notes, granitic soils, light tobacco leaf, dry stone, light fresh herb notes, dry brush, soft leather with fresh red/blue and violet flowers.
The entry is ripe and juicy and evolves into big, dry, powdery tannins with deep, dark spice that sets on the palate with heat. Ripe, blackberries, dark cherries, floral blueberries, creamy, blackberries, black & plum skin. Black licorice notes, vanillin, granitic soils, light tobacco leaf, dry stone, light fresh herb notes, dry brush, soft leather with fresh red/blue and violet flowers. The acidity is like rainfall. The elegant, ripe, lush, polished, well balanced finish is delicious. Very luxurious mouthfeel.

Dark garnet red with some tawny edges. A bit stinky on the nose with some cheese, wood and black cherries. Medium tannins (6/10) with a medium body. Notes of bark and dried cherries on the palate. Drinking well right now with a long finish. Drink till 2019. — 6 years ago
Complex red, bold, semi dry, lots of flavor, strong red! — 7 years ago
Big aroma of dark cherries and plums. Big middle tannins of plums, cocoa and a touch of oak. Then the dryness in the finish. Let it breathe for the mellowness. — 8 years ago
Really fun expression of old vine Chenin, there's so much of it down there, great to see it made with respect. — 8 years ago
Drinking the 2010 in 2016, a year into its drinking window. Deep red colour and an enticing perfumed plum bouquet. Lovely mouthfilling plum, damson and cranberry flavours, the merest hint of sour cherry, most of the tannins having melted away by now. Well delineated and delightful. — 10 years ago
Aroma of rich berries. Smooth and slightly sweet with a sour note. Very good. — 12 years ago

Seemed an appropriate Christmas wine. Can’t rave enough about Kf wines. QPR is a little whack but it delivers. Way too young to open but ran it through the Venturi a few times and it showed really pretty red fruit, elegant wine. Hold for several years before trying again. — 4 years ago
