Truly serious stuff offering a plethora of barely ripe papaya, Meyer lemons and faint hints of vanilla, spice and freshly cut grass. Full-bodied, yet lively with great mid-palate texture, sweet spices and rich, sun-drenched fruits, nicely balanced by obvious minerality and lingering acidity. I can imagine this youngster being even more interest in 5 years. Doubtless one the most intriguing whites to ever emerge from SA.

2013 - BAM! Creamy, Pine(y) stone fruit, batenburg cake but with a deep mineral dent, great. Textured mouth feel, rich but with some prickly tropical and citrus fruit acidity, creamy but clean finish, Ab Fab. GORGEOUS! Rewards plenty of air & def get in ye cellar if you can.
