Sweet and still drinkable red for people who like dry. Not overpowering at all. — 7 years ago
Nice red fruits, ripe but not over ripe. Quite spicy also. Very ripe tannins and a long finish. Not overly warm, nicely balanced . Good acidity. Very enjoyable now, it will probably improve , but it is very nice to drink at this quite fruit driven stage. Tannins are nicely hidden. — 9 years ago

Tastes even better when you're drinking it WITH the wine maker :-) Shout out to "Big Bobby!" — 10 years ago
This is the 2009. Love this stuff. Black and red fruits on the nose with a deep, smokey, nutmegy nose. Palate is balanced with mouthwatering acidity over chewy tannins. Baked pie sweetness adds to the experience. Long finish. Excellent wine. Delicious. — 10 years ago
And then Jamet walked through the door- welcome sir, welcome!!! — 11 years ago
Fortunate to follow this over the course of an evening. More open that I would have thought at this stage. — 8 years ago
2012 vintage. Tasting with Peter Gago at Magill Estate. Deep purple hue. Very primary and big on the nose. Blueberry and plum. Some spice and chocolate. On the palate, full bodied, rich and big tannins. Good concentration and finish. Not my style at this stage of early development. Drink 2030 to 2045. — 9 years ago
First, a person has to pause and realize how lucky they are to drink this wine from 3L. Thanks Clyde for opening. This is in a perfect stage. Such evolution, length, balance, structure. Love the lower 80's alcohol levels. It's rich, lush and near perfect. Dark cassis; ripe and resolved blackberries, dark cherries, black plum w/skin, mixed berry liqueur, tobacco leaf, leather so soft you would wish it as a pillow cover, dry pebbles, dark rich earth, perfect acidity and a rich, elegant, ripe dark fruit finish. In 3L, this wine still has 10-15 years. — 9 years ago

Dark, velvity, rich flavor. Almost tasted like a meal in itself. Great to drink by itself, or pair with rich foods — 10 years ago
Very nice tart white from Maine! A hint of dry and sweet. Very pleased! — 10 years ago
Sweet, buttery, reminiscent of a lightly oaked chardonnay, with the crisp green apple notes of a Riesling. — 11 years ago
The 05 might not be in its best evolution stage but, it’s still very nice. Shows the great fruit of 05 but it needs much more time in bottle or at the very least, a better bottle phase. Ripe, floral; blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum and cherries and strawberries around the wide palate. Rich moist earth, saddle-wood, used leather, crushed limestone, dry stones, rich black earth with some sweetness, slight tarry notes, dry herbs, underbrush & dry dark florals. The acidity is near perfect. The balance, tension & length are excellent. The finish is well balanced and lasts minutes. Can’t wait to have it again in 10 years. — 7 years ago
Nose of leaner red fruits of; blueberries, blackberries, dark cherries, dry earth & minerals and more nice red, fresh dark florals than most vintages. On the palate, M-M+ tannins, good presence of spice-box, savory meats, blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, cherries, mocha powder, cigar, leather, cinnamon, clove, dry stems, underbrush, haunting presence of additional blue fruits as it sit on the palate & fresh acidity. The finish is leaner than the 13 and in general many other vintages. At this early stage, it's also drinking smoother with softer edges. Photos of one of the larger private tasting rooms and the outdoor patio on the front of their estate. The 14 vintage came very close to me giving it a 9.3. — 8 years ago

Raspberry, smoke, fruit forward, but dry. Complex, but balanced acidity. — 9 years ago
13.7% alc.
The nose is starting to show a hint of age that doesn't really translate to the palate which is still juicy, fresh and vibrant.
This should be in prime drinking window for the next decade.
