Double smiley face. Awesome wine — 10 years ago
Can a wine coddle you? Great nose of dark blackberry, flavors of vanilla cola. No spice no oak, silky texture, round tannins. Not an overpowering cab, not a long finish but a great wine! I could drink endless bottles of this. — 7 years ago
This is one of my favorite Stag's Leap Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. It's better than the Artemis and slightly less full-bodied than the Cask 23. It's medium to full bodied, with a complex bouquet of blueberries, currant, cedar wood, and a sense of expansive after-taste. It's balanced and well positioned, totally harmony. I love it. I hope you can still find this vintage in the market. — 7 years ago
Dark red fruit nose. Super ripe black cherry, blackberry, then light spice, like white pepper, and a little bit of funk. Clean on the palette. Very drinkable. Had on jun 29 2016. — 8 years ago
Mead, buttery, oaky, dry. Really tasty! — 8 years ago

Soaring aromas of spice and lemon followed by bright acid and structure. Gorgeous texture and a precise, long finish. Seven years old and this is a current release! This is what Chardonnay should be. — 9 years ago
Only shit. I like that. It almost has the feel of a sparking cider. — 11 years ago
Very light and buttery. Loved this one! Great solo or paired. — 5 years ago

Smooth and drinking well but curious to see what this is like in 25 years — 7 years ago
Plums, boysenberries, blueberries and baking spices on the nose. Tannins are nicely resolved and will continue to evolve nicely for another 5-8 years. Fruits are ripe; blackberries, black cherries, boysenberries, blueberries, cherries, stewed strawberries. Lots of melted milk chocolate, light baking spices; light vanilla & cinnamon w/ a whiff of clove, spice-box, soft leather, grilled meats, burnt ambers, saw dust, brown volcanic soil with crushed rocks, dry red flowers, violets, sound acidity w/ a nice elegant but a leaner style finish. Not convinced this wine will get much better going forward but it will certainly evolve and hold a nice drinking stage for another 5 years or so. Decanter for 1 & 1/2 hours. Interesting this wine puts on weight as it sits in the decanter. 💪 — 7 years ago
Just as good as you would expect. Dark, dry but late fruit. — 8 years ago
