Citrus blossom and honeysuckle nose. Honeyed pineapple, tropical fruits and buttered toast on the palate. Rich, opulent and full bodied. Stunning texture, and I'm all about texture in these SQN white blends. Simple mouth-coating greatness. Endless finish. It might be heresy, but I love these SQN whites as much, if not more, than Manfred's reds. Patience is a virtue. They just keep getting better with time. Sadly, my last. 2014 Nelson Family Cabernet Sovereign — 8 years ago
This wine is highly sensitive to temperature and opening times. Don't judge it unless you are near 66 degrees and open after an hour. Once there, you can expect explosive tannins with dark cherries, herbs, and cedar undertones that you can't stop drinking. Superb! So sensitive is the temperature that 10 degrees cooler made it taste like dilute watered wine; I wanted to toss it. Patience is a virtue and is well rewarded for those who can get temperature and opening time right. — 9 years ago
Much better in 2016 than 2014, patience IS a virtue. — 9 years ago

Patience is a virtue. So tasty and textured. Firing all the senses. — 9 years ago
Captivating aromatic bouquet after time spent decanting. This is a by the book Brunello, featuring dried cherry, black cherry, blackberry, loads of cinnamon, vanilla, bitter chocolate, & tar. All are seamless, deep, & savory. Spice & fruit comes first, & last remarkably long. Opened young, of course, but patience isn't a virtue of mine. || Decanted 5 hours. — 9 years ago

Patience is a virtue with this wine. Takes a while to open up. #arnotroberts — 10 years ago

Patience is a virtue when drinking this wine, as it takes longer than expected to open up. But once it did, wonderfully elegant. Extremely floral and herbaceous nose. Elegant and easy. Spicy at the end. Close your eyes and take your time with the finish, it's worth it. — 8 years ago
