Decent amount of funk on opening, which blew off after an hour. Bright fruit, mild tannins and a blast of herbs. Everything I want from a Cab Franc. — 8 years ago

Bright and citrusy. Would drink again. — 6 years ago
Tried a sample at a wine tasting bar in store. Very pleasant - not aged in oak which I prefer. — 6 years ago
Notes for other years underrate this fantastic Chardonnay reboot as shown in the 2014 vintage. Lemon curd, honeysuckle and beautiful minerality and acidity. A lot of so called better Burgundian properties could learn a lot from Caroline L'Estimé's brilliant reimagining of what Chardonnay can be, rather than what it has been. — 9 years ago
Aromas of wood freshly cut via table or circular saw, caramelized sugar and radial tire - things were looking up. Initial glass was a bit short, which I must say was disappointing after such an auspicious beginning. After a bit of time, she broadened out into an elegant, almost weightless drink. So delicate and pleasant.

Very interesting and delicious showing how far one can push and still have freshness even with a fairly oxidative style. Cool. — 11 years ago

A little sister to the corton Charlemagne. The rollin family always offer superior value for the price. — 7 years ago
Aloha Champagne Fridays (this is the inaugural occasion). This is superb for around $20. The label lets your know this is dry all the way. 100% Chardonnay. Yellow apples and light caramel notes. Friends who take my reviews seriously (should proceed with caution) might prefer the Grüner Brut (Szigeti from Austria) from a little while back at this price point. But this is darn good. — 7 years ago

Fruit driven with seducing upper palate acidity and gulpy mouth watering tension. Natural and pure. Holds oxidation for around one hour - be aware. — 8 years ago
Very good. Slightly sweet, could be a good digestif too. Medium bubbles. Almost fruity flavour — 9 years ago
So rich, balanced, but the amount of oak is a little over-powering. — 10 years ago
Paired well with seared sea scallops. Round, crisp. — 11 years ago
Drank 1994. Buttery, green apple taste, esp. For Chardonnay. Heavy, rich. We all enjoyed. — 11 years ago

Boldly and marvelously fragrant, with ripe cherry, blackberries, almond paste, cinnamon stick, and hints of cloves, spicy mint, and warm tires on the nose. Dark cherry, juicy plum, raspberry on the palate with notes of milk chocolate giving way to sharp scratchy mint-tea tannins and a hint of bacon fat emerging with black peppercorns on a long finish. Very well done and interesting. Excellent value — 5 years ago
