Bright ripe color, legs 7/10. Bright cherry and currant and vanilla on the nose. Smooth, supple taste, if a smidge sweet. Going to pair with something like spicy chicken next time. Will definitely buy again. — 6 years ago
Gorgeous fortified.
So smooth, so dense, so clean. — 7 years ago
Revisiting. It actually did well with a smidge of age. Less saline more really ripe kumquat. I want this wine to be my best friend. Like we are both gonna change and mature but will always provide quality us-time to each other. Dang I’m worried Eight Cellars isn’t making wine anymore? Because I was able to buy 2014 Sauvignon Blanc in 2018... — 7 years ago
Plum and pomegranate. With a basement funk. But deliciously refreshing on a hot summer night. A smidge of tannin — 7 years ago
Party juice. Smidge herbaceous. — 8 years ago
A smidge sweater than the other one but still so perfect for an afternoon out at the sidewalk cafe — 6 years ago
Red pepper nose. Delicious dry with a smidge of juice. — 7 years ago
This absolutely has to be the best Cab Sauv I've ever had!!!! I love a great fruit forward red. It's a smidge dry to me but 14.3 % ABV makes up for that. I'm currently pairing with some General Tso's and I'm in love!!!!! 💓 — 8 years ago
Fourth wine of the week. Very good second wine - 60 Cabernet / 40 Merlot from younger vines. Brambly blackberry, cranberry, olives with tobacco notes and a smidge of graphite. Tannins are ripe and smooth. Lacks the concentration and layered complexity of the grand vin, but still very good. 2016 vintage on April 19, 2020 — 6 years ago
Very interesting and delightful wine with lots of acidity. Light bodied but full of character. On the nose, I got lots of candied/baked yellow fruit and molasses and botrytis qualities, but it was surprisingly fresh and saline and slightly herbal on the palate. Baked apple, lemon pith, oregano, white pepper. It got more candied flavors as it warmed up and I can imagine that it’s lovely in a sweeter form as well. Just a smidge of effervescence. I could drink a lot of this. — 6 years ago
Super funky nose. Earth, moss, even a smidge of hard boiled egg. Not super sweet red fruit shines here after the first sip which frankly had me concerned it resembled grape juice. But then the true flavor profile was revealed and its complex enough mixture of raspberry, funky wood, herb and even a hint of dark chocolate at the end was rewarding. Steely but light tannic dry aftertaste was a pleaser too. Clean. Med light body and med acid. — 7 years ago
Blackberry, plums, oak, smidge of licorice. Everything really comes together with a smooth, long finish. I don't think I've ever had an Okanagan wine this old. I had the same bottle a few years ago, but I would have loved to compare with newer editions. Either way, I enjoyed this one more with the extra years, but maybe it was the Canucks good start. — 7 years ago

At last a wine that is not the remains of my Champagne weekend. It’s a smidge green and tannic. I wish I’d saved it for a few years. This is potent and interesting and I think I should have just given it at least three years. D’oh. Maybe a day or so of being open will help because the potential on this is huge given fruit, tannins and acid. — 7 years ago
A lot of the action here is the bouquet. On the palate the wine is solid, but less intense. Good melon and honeysuckle, with a smidge of sage. — 8 years ago

Blackberry, plum, fresh sweet mint (subtle), dark forest fruit and a smidge of graphite. Velvety smooth, and really easy to drink. 2012 drink well in 2021. Beautiful. — 5 years ago
