Broc Cellars label and Tim says it tastes like Russian River pinot so yay! Super tasty. Good price point for a little splurge at $26. More please. — 10 years ago

Cigar box cedar. Slate. Plum. Big tannins, lush plump fruit. Deep and complex. Finish goes forever. — 13 years ago
The Sea Ridge Chardonnay is rich and ample all in the Martinelli style but well balanced. Lemon pie, custard, ripe melons and French oak. Not the most subtle wine but very good in its own right. — 9 years ago
There is nothing not to like about this Zinfandel. Easy drinking, smooth, Jammy, balanced with firm tannins and a long finish. — 10 years ago
I was so nervous about proposing recently that I forgot my two birthyear wines I had saved for almost a year. Happy Belated to ME! Still celebrating the engagement too. A lot to celebrate! To those who are wondering if 86s are approachable yet, they are. This wine had been solid as a rock forever, but today it was seamless. Dank and pretty, intense cassis and black currant and blackberry reduction. Somehow fresh cut floral notes like lavender and cherry blossom. Fresh earth tone to it with an endless iron steel like mineral finish. Complimented by a rich wood tone. Perfectly softened tannins. This bottle was a milestone for me. — 10 years ago

Nice wine. I just polished off the last of the milk before drinking this... Does not pair all that well with milk. — 11 years ago
Tropical and balanced. The price is a steal - tastes like a $20 wine! — 12 years ago

Unpacked Chardonnay with Suzan. Dinner our house 8/7/3013 — 13 years ago
Was absolutely splendid after sitting in a decanter for 2 hours. With all the delicate yet powerful flavors you would expect from a first growth, and a very silky texture, and a finish that went on forever. — 13 years ago
Tasted blind. Ruby color. Almost opaque. Young fruit forward nose. Notes of plums, mocha, dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and some exotic thing like eucalyptus. So rich and vibrant in the mouth. A forever finish. This wine took us in all directions. Immortal. Stan's 60th will always be remembered for the 45 Latour vs 45 Mouton mano y mano battle. A wine life moment for sure. — 9 years ago
Decent Syrah. Well rounded, peppery. — 10 years ago
A smooth and easy drinking Cab with the flavor profile of a much bigger wine. Tannins are velvety, great finish but doesn't require as much chewing as some other Cabs its same age — 10 years ago

Another great vintage of this underrated NZ single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc. Loads of citrus (primarily grapefruit) and herbaceous notes. Light bodied with Bracing acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Consistent from year to year. — 9 years ago
