Liked it more as it opened. Dry and tannic for a Merlot-dominated Bordeaux, but not at all disappointing. Somewhat single-note. Excellent alone for an uncommonly warm January evening on the porch.
Edit: Another bottle a few days later likewise benefited from some air (high pour), and was even more appreciated for its simple, solid representation of the region. — 8 years ago
