Dark fruits with a depth of flavor uncharacteristic for an only slightly big medium-bodied wine. Playfully spicy with a good tannic core. This got better each day over a 5 day timeframe. Sweet nose and medium in body with medium plus acidity and small bubbles.

Off dry on the palate with mild complexity.

Showing lemons, apples, pears, light honey, herbs and minerals.

Short finish with limes and sweet grapefruits.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. A nice pool wine too.

100% Glera grapes. Organic and vegan.

11.5% alcohol by volume.

Bit of cranberry and under-ripe strawberry on the nose. Hint of rocks in the rain. Flavors are juicy and crisp. Very southern Rhône styled. Minerality and red pepper. Blood orange. Acids and tannins come together for a harmonious balance. Not a classic mushroom and berry Syrah, but very nice drinking foothill red. — 8 years ago
