Great vineyard for this wine. Better than others I have had. Soft, round, and fruity. Random Tuesday watching Brewers put Cuba back into second place. — 3 months ago
Mmmm - delicious! Quite full bodied with a deep ruby red color. Enjoyed with red meat and all by itself. Flavors of blackberry, plum and dark cherry. — 9 months ago

Doesn’t need very long to air out. Light. Crisp. Fresh. Bubbly tasting almost. I smell cinnamon for some reason on it? Not sure if I should be. It’s delicious though — 16 days ago

Bright and citrusy. Would drink again. — 6 years ago
I had a bottle two years ago, and now 11 years after bottling this wine is drinking even more beautifully. Strawberry, dark cherry, cedar, cocoa, white pepper, and cinnamon on the palate. High acid, medium tannins, and medium alcohol with a long finish. Some tertiary notes say don’t put this off much longer. I miss the days when producers weren’t making SLH pinots so hot. Lovely to be reminded. — 2 days ago

2007 vintage. Nice fill. Used a Durand to open but good cork nonetheless. Decanted and tasted after 15 minutes. JFC...does the oak ever die on this nonsense? Tried to bushwhack through it without success. Even the Alexander Valley product has the good sense to have the oak minimized/integrated/drop off after a decade. Not the case here. There's a reason why I haven't even considered carrying this on a wine list since the late 90's. This go round didn't exactly convert my opinion. 8.16.26. — 2 days ago
