2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 8 years ago

Interesting comparison between the Fulldraw and Tynan wine. Both were opened about 2hrs. The flavor profile is somewhat similar between the two, showing chocolate and dark blue fruit for the Tynan and red fruit for the Fulldraw. Great spice and pepper with each. The main difference is with the tannins and finish. The tannins on the Tynan are fairly noticeable (in addition to some heat) while the Hard Point’s are already integrated. Future tasting of the 13 Insignia. Super bright fresh fruit. Blackberries, creamy raspberries, blueberries, ollie berry, vanilla toasted barrel, crush rocks and nice mineral finish. Very fruit driven at this point. This will cellar a long time and be spectacular in 20 plus years. — 9 years ago

Crisp aromatics, with a corresponding flavor profile, of white peach, lemony citrus, lychee and wet stone. Slightly sweet, but with a zippy acidity that keeps it clean and focused.
