Nice, but a little less dry, peppery than we prefer — 3 years ago
Young Silvia Barbaglia makes fantastic wines in this tiny Northern Piemonte DOC. Boca is a blend from Nebbiolo and Vespolina. This 2006 has aged beautifully and smells like Nebbiolo dried roses, intertwined with Vespolina violets. Elegant and profound, perfectly balanced and very good length. Wish I had more of this in my cellar. — 5 years ago
Almond, cherry, dried rose petals, leather... This is nice. There is a barnyard funk think too, which goes away after a while. The palate is very well done with a good acid drive, some nice cherry notes all along, a vivid mouthfeel, some drying tannins in the rear, some savoury touches blossom in the finish along with bright cherry notes and that dried layer. It's a very good effort, one of the best classico I have tasted recently, quite easy going. — 6 months ago
Nice tasting red blend — 3 years ago
The vineyard is less than 1 hectare and is fully organically farmed about 600 bottles made and elevate in barriques. Amazing Sangiovese effort. Amazing balance, great acidity, cassis all over your nose but not overripe. Outstanding effort, unfortunately very little available. — 3 years ago
Had this with homemade pizza cooked on grill. Low tannins, fruity if dark fruits variety. — a year ago
