Tall Grass. Smooth, nice mix of toasty notes with fruit and acid. Classic chardonnay. Would buy again. — 6 years ago
Nice light cherry tasting - will drink again — 7 years ago
Had this 2 years ago, and thought it was slightly disjointed. And clearly overoaked.
Today it’s showing considerably better than it did back then. Oak is resolving, fruit still standing tall.
Very nice wine, albeit a tad too extracted and overdone for my taste. — 7 years ago
GL tasting Pape Clement 10/18/17. Means tall oak tree. 60 Merlot 40 cab. Three vintages. '15 Nose of black berries and palette that's straightforward with some earthiness and medium finish. 8.8. 2010 nose that's black fruit and body with hints of wood and good structure. 8.9. 2005 nose that's complex with that autumnal secondary notes of age and good structure on palate and long finish. Rewards of aging. 9.0. Roland consulting previously but more moving away from me oak. — 8 years ago
Nice and dry but still a taste. A dry cab but good ( first to rate it 😉) — 8 years ago
It says it is not strictly dry, but I think this allows the raging funk to shine bright and stand tall. — 9 years ago
Medium to full body, moderate nose and palate, a very pleasant wine with dark cherries in the backround — 4 years ago
Had this with blue cheese and pears... delicious! Sweet, but not pure sugar. Would definitely have it again. Bought at Meijer. — 7 years ago
Tall grass. Smooth, creamy, not too sweet would buy again — 7 years ago
Only back home for three days since our grand excursion, oh Burgundy how I miss you and your beautiful landscapes with tiny villages.
(I don't miss how tall my damn grass grew in the lawn during our absence!)
Flinty nose with beautiful white flowers.
Flint, minerals, lime-honey on the palate, acidity is noticable but not distracting. Finish is like forever. We will attempt to restrain ourselves from drinking this whole bottle this evening, as based on recent Saint Aubin tastings, this will continue to evolve with air and patience. I feel this bottle is still young, many years ahead for enjoyment.
Thanks @David T for turning me towards Lamy... I'll be back for more!
24hr Update: So creamy, beautiful Chardonnay fruit, yellow apple, faint flinty notes today, acidy is still noticable, and enjoyable. I'm not sure I like it more or less than the initial approach, it's a different, also great, wine today. — 7 years ago

On the lighter side, but strong and VERY very smooth. Almost no aftertaste at all — 8 years ago
Not my favorite wine. Soild — 5 years ago
Still standing tall! Amazing Bordeaux blend from one of Australia’s preeminent wineries! Very balanced, great forward fruit and a super-long finish! Had with aged beef - to die for!! — 6 years ago
Tall grass. Mellow with good spice. Good with dark chocolate. Maybe a little leathery with notable tannins. A bolder merlot. Would buy again. — 7 years ago
A brilliant Sangiovese blend. Loving this example/vintage. Black cherries, spice box and coffee stand tall. Showing perfectly now, but could put on weight over time. Excellent. — 8 years ago
Supercampano!? Cherries, rain, earth, a basketful of sun-warmed herbs. 2006 vintage but still very primary. This wine is seven feet tall and full of muscles. Where's the fat slow-roasted beef? De Conciliis never ceases to amaze. — 8 years ago
Still standing tall. 30 minutes of air and this blossoms. A little spicy and tart initially but the fruit comes on late in the game with a marvelous citrus finish. This could hold for another 3-5 years but it is great right now. Drink it if you find it. — 9 years ago

Young, Cab Franc stands tall, beef or chicken, buy at this price. — 4 years ago
