Starts off a bit tight like a Chianti but opens up really nicely. A bit of fruit. Reminds us of those great Italian house reds you get at restaurants in Rome or Florence. — 7 years ago

Infanticide can be delicious. The early onset of winter in Seattle called for a big wine for pappardelle alla bolognese. Decanted 2+ hours and served at cellar temp. Initially a bit of a mess--wood, tannins, heat--started to come together after the first glass. Classic nebbiolo notes of dusty cherries, foliage, pepper. Big and beautiful, not quite in prime form. And yet, je ne regrette rien... 🍷💯👌🏼🍝 — 8 years ago
Really crisp, early fruit, dry finish - Very easy to drink. — 8 years ago
Best Prosecco I’ve had, easy. Pear, white peach, floral, nicely balanced acid, tight mousse. Just lovely. #cvsrun2019 — 6 years ago
E il nostro favarito sempre. Ha il corpo abbastanza, acidita bella. Senti un po amaro per finire. — 7 years ago

Wonderful sparkly white aperitivo style wine. Best bang for your buck (4€ at the producer in piedmont). Fruity, floral, light and just all-round a pleasure — 8 years ago
Awesome tannins and roasted cherries. Light on the palate. Hints of smoke, tobacco, pepper, plums, cedar, leather and rose petals. A whole lot of fantastic balance and complexity. — 8 years ago

Spicy notes on the nose. Round fruits reminiscent of Pinot noir. Tannins still a bit harsh but lots of structure to age — 6 years ago
14% alcohol, really? Yes, but it only hits you subtly on the back palate. Burnt nose, hints of mineral. Peach or lychee fruit on the front palate? Dry wine, heavy body, a wine with a character. — 7 years ago
Never heard of this wine before but it’s very nice Always love the nose on a Barolo. — 7 years ago
Very good not too sweet. Dry finish — 8 years ago

30$ Barolo. This is the label usually sold in restaurants, but a few parcels make it abroad. Youthful, decanted 6 hours. Good structure, initial palate has a ways to go, but finish is quite lovely. True to the varietal. Hold for 3-5. — 5 years ago
