Fabulously surprising! This wine is one of those warm robust bear humans who wraps you in a hug that doesnβt smother you, it frees you. Itβs fresh. Oodles of dark berries and plums plus vanilla and a very herbal earthy thing and something like leather. So very very good. β 6 years ago
Bought at Costco for $25 or so. Warm colors and lovely fruits of pinot noir. Worth the money β 6 years ago
Smokey dark fruited velvet blanket. Still a bit upright. β 8 years ago
Really incredible wine. Not paired with any food, the wine is flavorful, quenching w/ oak flavor adding the right dryness and notes of plum & vanilla to finish - really well balanced and opened well. Bottled was empty far too quickly : ) β 5 years ago
16β Paul Hobbs Ross Station Chardonnay. Throw this into a decanter for an hour. Certainly wonβt hurt it
Bright golden color. Nose smells like honeycomb, crushed rock. Palate- apricot, peach, toasted hazelnut. Medium to full-bodied & intensely flavorful in the mouth, it's balanced by very juicy acidity. Nicely made Chardonnay. β 5 years ago
Amazingly fresh peach notes in this unusual California Chardonnay in the French style β 6 years ago

Dark cherry and cassis. Lots of vanilla notes. Soft, mild tannins. Good QPR. β 7 years ago
Strong black pepper nose, with blueberry and jasmine. Wonderfully complex on the palate with dancing ripe red currants and blueberries. Amazing and delicious. Slight tannins and long, smooth finish. β 5 years ago
Clay loved it. Soph liked but not as much as clay but would drink again. β 5 years ago
Fort Ross Seaview Bordeaux blend. Old world style. Truffle, cedar & cassis nose. Fresh style on the palate. Drinks more Super Tuscan than Bordeaux. Black currant & tobacco, but loads of fresh acid. Drinks great with a pork ragu & pasta. Definitely one to seek out. β 6 years ago
Very fruity with pepper on the front end and a smooth finish. β 6 years ago

Fort Ross FRV Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2013: Beautiful ruby-red color. Elegant Balance. Silky tannins. Great acidity. Dark fruit (blackberry, currant, plum). Red fruit (cranberry, cherry, pomegranate). Menthol. Spice. Earth. One of my absolute favorite Sonoma Coast Pinots and a perfect match for todayβs #tacotuesday Cheersπ· β 5 years ago
