Dry. Flavors of dried black cherry, peppercorn, roasted red pepper, cured meat, cinnamon, leather, tobacco. Medium-rich, chewy tannins. Wow!

A blend of 95% Sangiovese, 5% Cab Sauv & 5% Merlot, aged 2 years in French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with smoke, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, spice and tobacco. Fine tannins, good balance, medium+ finish ending with oaky spice. — 5 years ago

Medium ruby , medium ruby garnet rim . Quite aromatic , cedar, red cherry , cut herbs , and a slight meaty , soy , balsamic touch . On the palate quite lean red fruits and some dark cherry , blackberry , cedar , liquorice with a herbal tinge . Gritty tannin , quite high acidity . Slightly short and lean on the finish . This is drinking at peak now , doesn’t have the structure or density to last so would recommend to drink over the next 3-5 years . — 5 months ago
