Medium body with elegant finish. Dark fruits, some earth, and some hints of spice. Yummy wine. — 8 months ago
Excellent wine with opulent black fruit - blackberry, cassis, black cherry, eucalyptus, violet, vanilla, cedar and clove. Tertiary notes are beginning to emerge - forest floor, leather, tobacco and dried cassis. Rich texture but well balanced despite 15.5% abv. Long finish, outstanding quality. — 9 months ago
Delicious. Nose of dark fruit and pepper. Cassis, strawberries, low tannin — a year ago
Pure and lifted. Black cherry fruit and underbrush. Pretty and starting to drink well. — 6 months ago
Typically a really big wine, classic Napa cab style, but this bottle was a little flat. Probably not the best storage conditions. — 7 months ago
Still got it! Deep golden color. Apricot, bergamot, soft anise. Light textured on the palate. Only 8% ABV, easy to drink. Not too sweet. Amazingly approachable. — 8 months ago
Well an excellent CA style Merlot tempered and refined by age! The winemaker’s handiwork still detectable? — 10 months ago
I theory enjoyed this wine. It opened up fantastically and had a smooth velvety flavor. Paired with beef, rice and carrots. Plan to purchase again. Would taste better with steak or something more full in my opinion. — 6 years ago

I bought this for 40 dollars in Paris in 2004. It has survived 2 cross country moves since then. I was worried it would be dead or over the hill. The cork was crumbly. But the wine was incredibly wonderful. I have been meaning to drink this for 10 years but kept delaying. Still lots of primary fruits along with the forest and other 2ndary flavors. This is why Burgundy can be so entoxicating to people. It so often disappoints, but not this time. Too bad wines like this are now so far beyond my means or desire to pay. — 6 months ago
