Enjoyable claret. Juicy lively but jammy. Nice black cherry, some savory notes. Decent length. — 4 years ago
Perfect blend that worked well with the steak at Capital Grille — 5 years ago
silky smooth, loads of dark fruit, toasted oak finish, moderate tannins — 6 years ago

Dark reddish purple. Inviting nose and medium-bodied palate of red berries, pomegranate, and a hint of toasted nuts on the moderate finish. Medium tannins. Medium acidity. A most typical example of mid-range Washington. The midpoint between New World fruit (but dark fruit) and Old World structure makes for an excellent American food wine. Pair with anything from burgers to roots to prime rib. Just do so by 2027. — 3 years ago
Woodsy, more purple in color.
Would pair with duck and thyme — 4 years ago

This wine is a really good value for cabernet sauvignon. Washington wines are generally good value — I like the syrahs — but this cab impressed as well. There was a great fruit bouquet, and not many tannins. I let it get a little too much air on the second day, but the first day was perfect. Parker likes it, 96 pts. $65 — 10 months ago
