Always love me a good Mead! — 9 years ago
A wonderful red wine blend that we enjoyed with goats, pig ear, and bone marrow. Low tannin, mid acidity, and nice and dry. — 9 years ago
Ear to ear grins from this loveliness. — 9 years ago
Bold aggressive with a type a personality. Settles nicely on the tongue like notes from a grand piano settles on the ear. — 9 years ago
Ear to ear. Smile. Shout. This richness and suavete fares well among its peers: vina ardanza, maysara, gros nore and meiomi. Thanks of a lifetime to all those obsessive wine-makers. — 9 years ago
Lovely date night at Publican-- perfect bright and zippy but deep counterpoint to boudin noir, marrow, Serrano, beets, and little gem lettuce with crispy pig ear! — 8 years ago

Barossa Red. Exactly what you'd expect. — 9 years ago
Multileveled, full bodied with a finish that I can't quite describe. There are so many awesome flavors in this wine. It's dry but sweet and tastes like a well cultured cab sav. Makes me smile ear to ear after that first sip. Perhaps my favorite wine I've ever had. — 9 years ago

Diabhal Belgian ale. Similar to a triple but lighter and brewed with candy sugar and honey for high attenuation but a rich mouth feel. — 11 years ago

Like Elton John whispering 'Tiny Dancer' into your ear. An intriguing and spontaneous willingness to go there. — 8 years ago
Exciting tiny bubbles covered the entire bed of the glass, I put my ear to it and listened to it sing. No toast, unripe stonefruit, and raw almonds - sexy and young, lots of energy — 8 years ago
I have been drinking a lot of beers lately, that is because I have far too many!! 69 different beers at last count! Most are strong ales, barley wines, and barrel aged (fill in the blank) this coffee stout is just a simple old favorite with a mocha nose, and a wood ear mushroom rustic touch. A mostly creamy head with animal cracker lacing, a well-integrated and borderline milk-stout mouthfeel, strong coffee note that remains well into second breakfast. The beer geek brunch is on tap down the street. Feral coffee? Let's get schizophrenic! — 9 years ago
Listen to the acoustic version of Everlong. It is the ear version of this wine. — 9 years ago
Fun beer with doggie ear — 9 years ago
Tastes of earthy top soil, Wood Ear mushrooms, and heirloom Quince's that were slightly unripe. #cidersangria — 9 years ago
The usually tight tannic punch has faded and melded with the usual Washington velvet, a dark abyss of blackberry, plum, black cherry, it's in a nice place, I honestly wanted the kick in the mouth, but it's more elegant than you would expect. And I'm okay with buying her dinner, cause she delivers! She wore the long dress, thought I'd be looking at a short skirt, but this long dress is taking me home, thanks! She got feisty after she opened up & she delivers impressed! Give it 1hr and she will sing in your ear! — 10 years ago

The first time I tried this one I thought it was cooked and it turns out I am probably correct. This second bottle was absolutely amazing. The first smell gave me elements of tobacco in tar. You could smell the smoke ear itching stickiness of like a fresh paved Road or old cigar stubs. After that there was a second layer of cherry. it was incredible. it wasn't like a sour cherry so much as it was a maraschino cherry. There was the third and final layer of milk chocolate that was a perfect balance of the first two. Imagine eating an amazing chocolate covered Cherry while smoking a Maduro cigar at a gas station and that's exactly what you have. Musical most comforting feeling to it. This is something you should want to drink by yourself curled up with a good book or with a good movie on. My only problem is that it comes off is almost stopped and off balance or amateurish version of the mastroberedino radici. The alcohol is a little bit too prominent on the back end and I would like to see it aged a bit more I think this one would be about 5 times better in about 5 years. Also I would like to have seen a slightly Fuller body. I purchase this wine for about 19.99 and I have to say I'd go with high as about $28 for this bottle. — 8 years ago
