A grower and producer that I have grown to love. Marzipan, fresh brioche gives a defined place that speaks of the limestone soils it grows in. The oxidation notes that are pleasing give way to depths and layers not found in many Champagne. Finish has a slightly bruised apple and cardamon note that rounds out for a long after taste. Base year 2006.

Excellent grower Champange in the NV (2008) amber in color-rich, deeply concentrated flavors of roasted French Coffee, cardamom and cream.

Head scratchingly delicious. Medium plus to high acidity. Over ripe apple and pear, white peony tea, bergamot.

Nose similar to Volnay. The Pinot is so obvious on this. So much concentration of cherry, rhubarb and red flowers

2013 base. Elegant, focused nose countered by palate of intense, powerful red berries and toast. Heady structure and length for days. Searing mineral. Needs time to resolve. A wine worth saying compelling for.
