From Epcot's food & wine fair. I would ❤️ to have more — 8 years ago
Dark purple color of this Second Growth Bordeaux. A powerhouse of aromas, juicy black fruits and spice. Palate displays full ripe fruits, blackberries, cherries and berries, with a big tannin structure that will age well. The long finish showed some mineral notes on the end. Drinkable now but this one is for the long haul. Wait and you will be rewarded. — 9 years ago
Another great Phinney wine! It's drinking really well. Amazing dark purple color. Lots of berries. — 9 years ago
Inky dark color with a purple rim.
On the nose, Blueberries, figs, blackberries, spices, vanilla and black pepper.
Long, thin legs and 14.5% alcohol.
Bold, big and full bodied.
Smooth, sweet and sexy on the palate, with blackberries, dried figs, raisins, black pepper, vanilla and herbs.
Long lasting finish with smooth tannins and black pepper. Excellent!! — 10 years ago
Purple colour, plummy jammy chocolate nose and palate. Slightly bitter, classic warm climate shiraz. Tasted with 2009 Grange and almost as enjoyable. Preferred it to the Bin 128 and the 389. Bargain. — 11 years ago
Flemings for our 13th anniversary. Had again several years later. Deep purple in color. Striking and strong nose. This is a complex blend with a loyal following. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon. I bought a 2015 from LA Wine Co in July of 2017 and opened in November of 2017. — 11 years ago
It’s Thursday but this is a Friday wine. Deep purple in colour, nose is a fruity mix of blackberry, cherry, liquorice and chocolate. Tannins are a little gripping but they allow the flavour to linger, I can taste cherries, blueberries, cloves and pepper. This is a well balanced wine which is very drinkable but no doubt will be smoother in a few years. Recommended. — 7 years ago
Everything you'd expect and more. All the rich dark fruit, chocolate and lush purple flowers, but none of the sticky over-ripe flavors. So balanced. — 8 years ago
Deep ruby color with glints of purple. Red cherry with hints of black fruit and menthol on the nose. Mid-weight red fruit on the palate with firm, grippy tannins. Would suggest an hour decant or even better a few more years of bottle age. — 9 years ago
Was lucky and grabbed a small tasting of this before it disappeared. I looked through the notes and noticed that believe either love or hate this wine. The color was ruby red with purple hues. Nose was fruit forward with a ton of dark berries and cassis. The palate is thick, plush, voluptuous, extracted with cherries and cassis. Moderate tannins (7/10) and moderate body that still need time to integrate more. Long and lingering finish. Definite potential to improve. — 10 years ago
Berry!!! Soft fizzy, my favorite beer for people who don't drink beer. — 10 years ago

This may be the smoothest Hermitage I've had @ £83 it's like a pig rolling in velvet 🐷 so smooooth 😍 Great now but 97+ over next 5-20yrs 😎
🍷 Ruby w/ purple hue
👃 Cloves, Olives, thyme & piggy 💩 through blackberry w/ touch of liquorice & minerals
👄 Med+ body incredibly super smooth olive tapenade, blackberry & dark cherry - surprisingly well balanced @ this age 👍
🎯 Long dark fruit & olive pure silk finish — 8 years ago
Made with complete cluster of grapes, dark inky purple in color, smells of nail polish, white pepper, tobacco with lively but restrained acidity, firm and strong tannin, tastes of leather, salty meat, raspberry, mineral stone, mint and herb, full body with complex long finish. Really tasty! — 10 years ago
Clear deep purple colour with watery rim. Clean medium intensity aroma with minty black cherry and black currant with hint of oak smokiness and vanilla. Dry on the palate full bodied medium alcohol with medium acidity and high but smooth velvety tannin. Flavours of earthy black currant, black cherry, and vanilla. Flavours last through into its long pleasant finish. Very good quality, drink now but can age for another 3 to 5 years for a even more balanced complexity. — 11 years ago
Great tannin structure, alcohol content compliments it well, beautiful color: nothing inky, great mountain fruit: deep with a long finish. — 12 years ago
