Thank you to Beverly and Arvind Sodhani for a truly remarkable evening. I shipped a Magnum of Krug Rose for us to enjoy prior to dinner. The Batard Montrachet came from Arvind & Beverly’s personal cellar. It was perfect. I adore this Batard! 😍😘😘😍🙌. This was a glorious prelude to a long evening of wine indulgence. It was definitely a Marathon and not a sprint! Thank God I’ve been training all year for this evening 🤪😂😂🤪.
Thank you so much for a phenomenal evening under the stars! 🌟 💫 🌟 There’s nothing better than dinning outside in Napa during this time of year — 7 years ago
“This is like the Cabernet version of the Columbia Valley Syrah”
The complex aroma is just a prelude to a high-toned mix of prunes, smoke, and minerality. — 7 years ago
What a great prelude to the Greenock. A precursor wine showing the quality of fruit that the Kalleske clan has at their disposal to play with. — 8 years ago
Very good Malbec Cabernet blend. Full bodied with a burst of berry instantly. Balanced with some acidity. Plumb and blackberry with a vanilla touch. Great wine to enjoy by itself with company. A prelude to a bone in ribeye home grilled dinner. Life is good! — 8 years ago
The 2017 Chablis is absolutely gorgeous. The bouquet alone is so inviting, but that is just a prelude, as the 2017 has so much to offer. Orange peel, lemon confit and floral overtones abound, but it is the wine silkiness and grace that impress most. The 2017 is quite simply a wine of total finesse. Great example of letting the varietals marry and partner with the oak to create a wonderful experience in your mouth! The glass stopper is novel, and the wine is a perfect prelude to the premium beef that was consumed afterwards. This wine is still a little young. — 6 years ago
A phenomenal prelude to a bad ass evening! The only thing that could’ve made it better is if all of you guys were here! 😂 @David L @Shawn R @Mike R @Joe Lucca @Ron R @Shay A @Howard Greenfield — 7 years ago
Low alcohol content and decent tannins make this wine easy drinking. And not bad for a prelude to something more serious down the road. — 8 years ago
Really interesting 50-50 combo of Viognier & a Grenache blanc — 8 years ago
A 2nd label from a top Margaret River producer that delivers beautifully. — 6 years ago
Nose and palate like a New World Chardonnay. Some funky leesy notes and some sulphidic Struck match. Trace of pineapple juice on palate. Lightly oaked with muted acid. Good Wine but the Verget is $59 and the Leeuwin Estate Prelude from Margaret River at about half this price is a better wine. Tasted 123 weeks later on 12th December 2020 with consistent notes. Certainly new world in style except lightly Oaked with that Pineapple juice still there. Interestingly I was rereading a tasting note on Leflaive Macon. Pineapple juice flavours must be a characteristic of the region. — 7 years ago
HUUUGE flavors! Love the fruit on the front and pepper finish. The deep red/purple color is a nice prelude to the deep and delicious flavors in this Zin. I will def be buying this again! — 7 years ago
2013 on Nov 3, 2017. Love this wine. Nice berry nose and totally luscious mouth feel. Silly tannins are just right and prelude the long tasty finish. — 8 years ago

2017 is fab. Great QPR. Intense with backbone. Give it a few more years. it doesn’t get much better at this price-point. — 5 years ago
