Again not a correct bottle at the onset (Brett), but that largely blew off after an hour. So better than the previous two bottles. Still muted, dusty fruit. Underneath there is a well made wine but it never shined unfortunately — 10 months ago

Bought 2016 per Pedro at Grand Cata $25 on 2/24/19. He said it would be heavier and exhibit more structure than some others in stock - and to let breathe for thirty minutes. Pretty bright red, no meniscus. Weak bouquet but surprisingly nice balance– good light acid, gentle tannins, red fruit, some flinty mineral. Juicy and full of bright red fruit, much like a southern Burgundy. Higher alchohol? — 6 years ago
