Rich and heavy. Excellent amarone — 7 years ago
Don't really get the Burgundy/Pinot Noir comparisons people are making with Nerello. For me it's a lot for Nebbiolo-like, albeit more approachable. Sour cherries, rose petal, dried herb. A bit on the simple side, but an interesting wine. — 7 years ago
So smooth, and fresh tasting! — 7 years ago

Opened up a 2011 bottle we backpacked with around Europe for two weeks! Cheers to you Alessandro and Kiera. Your wine is excellent and we are thinking of your excellent hospitality. The wine has a fruit forward and dry finish. Excellent and unique aroma. — 7 years ago

So drinkable right now. My colleague made a good point saying that it smells like scotch on the nose...nothing wrong with that. Will get better with age. Drinking great now, tannins are perfect. 2010! best vintage ever for Barolo...get some — 9 years ago
Red fruit, volcanic minerality, light to medium bodied, fresh acidity, clean fruit-driven finish. — 10 years ago

Benedetta knows how to make a great wine. This comes from a tiny family owned estate on the east side of the hill in Montalcino. Benedetta's father worked these vines for years before he saved up to buy them. They only make 13,000 bottles / year I believe. Think of their Super Tuscan starter /first course wine, the Rossi as the brother, and their Brunello as the "dad". Buy this bottle. — 7 years ago
