About every quarter or so i get to try a wine which just strikes me like thunder - this is such a wine. This one has a story (I met Pacalet in Encinitas - a total introvert but genius and bought 6 bottles). Earth, autumn leaves, iron, hint cherry, tannins fully resolved. Tamarind? Touch tumeric. A wine at its peak. 🍑 Peach!!! Heaven on earth what a wine! — 6 months ago
Longtime favorite and I snap up this foxy number whenever I see it. Crunchy strawberry and herbs, a bit of animal and yeast at the end but not too much to compromise the freshness. I don’t think this ages and should be drunk up but that doesn’t make it any less special — 9 months ago

Drinking well in early 2025 for the 2018 vintage. It took a few years to get off the rough edges. $21. — 7 months ago

Excellent! It took very little time to breathe which was unexpected for a 2011. We will be buying more of this if we can find it. — a year ago

These both opened up in stages, drank them side by side and at first the opus was better. Then mouton opened up and was a big presence in the room — 3 months ago
