Mourvèdre madness. Petrichor, chewing tobacco, black pepper. Very prickly. Great with steak. — 6 years ago
Citrus, petrichor / medium body w/balanced medium+ acidity / almond, marzipan on the finish — 7 years ago
Wow. Graphite, tar, petrichor. Layers of fresh and dried cherry. This says Brunello for sure. This is not bargain bin Brunello, not baby Brunello, it's real Brunello. Not the most complex or nuanced one to be sure, but if you were trying to teach the difference between a top quality 100% Sangiovese Chianti Classico and BdM this would be a damn good one for the money. Almost too good to be true for under $35. — 7 years ago
Orchard fruit, lemon, petrichor. Crisp and fresh - juicy acidity. — 7 years ago

Still drinking great! One of my all time favorites. — 7 years ago
Lighter than the Rayas and Pignan but with the same or perhaps some added elegance. Has everything you want and expect from one of Reynauds wines: warm ripe strawberries, petrichor and iodine. No need to wait. — 7 years ago
If someone asked me about ‘minerality’ in wine, I’d give them this bottle. Aroma and palate are both dominated by wet stones, petrichor, smoke, and an earthy metallic quality. Aroma is rounded out with pear and cream notes, a sweet breadiness (animal crackers?), and the mouthfeel is relatively full-bodied with a touch of alcohol warmth. Reminiscent of an un-oaked Chardonnay just with a huge punch of minerality. Stood up well to some Cacio e Pepe and Caesar salad. — 7 years ago
Petrichor on the nose. Angular citrus. Under stone fruit: nectarine, white peach. Light garden hose. Apple. Clean and refined with a medium to medium- body. Medium to medium+ acidity. Surprisingly long finish. — 7 years ago
Very nicely structured. Honeydew and petrichor on the nose. Saline minerality is dominant on the palate. You have to search for the acidity in this wine. I know Mark does 100% malo on many of his whites to avoid sterile filtration and preserve texture; which is excellent in this wine. Don't think I'd cellar too long w/ this acidity level. — 8 years ago
Leather, vanilla, cheese rinds, and petrichor notes. Opaque colour with a little bit of sediment on the appearance. Tannins has softened to a nice velvety texture on the palate. Tasted a half bottle so it probably aged a bit faster than a standard. — 6 years ago
Snappy! This wine brings the pop. Great acid and dryness at its core, this builds the framework for this wine’s structure and ability to hold greater complexity in its expression of fruit. Lemongrass, ripe grapefruit, candied kumquat, slate, and petrichor zip across the palette. I’ve had other bottlings from this producer in mixed vintages but this one clearly rises to the top in 2014. At a great place to enjoy now. Grip & rip. One for the acid freaks — 6 years ago
I adore St Emillon omg this one is absolutely peak, lush potting soil, petrichor, and dried herbs on the nose. Beautiful palate and finish, touch of limestone, perhaps a teeny bit too much oak, but I like it. — 7 years ago
Lovely nose of violets, cranberry, red currant, mocha, petrichor, and charcoal. The pallet is muted comparatively, but enjoyable. — 7 years ago
