Medium plus in body and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, blueberries, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, light earth and coffee.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard Napa Bordeaux blend is just delicious.
Fruit forward with lots of earthy notes, that make it interesting. Not your typical Napa Cabernet.
This 5 year old is still young, but already delicious, even by itself.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
I had it two and a half years ago, and it is drinking so much better now. A nice wine to sip on by the porch.
A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels for 20 months. A very small production of less than 1,500 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Complex! Berry brambles, plums, crushed gravel — a month ago
Rim to rim invariance of black cherry peel with smoky topaz highlights. Nearly Dense and dark as black coffee. Violets shine on a nose of plum , black currant jelly, blueberry-dark chocolate, roses with a tiny whiff of bovine, tilled soil, dried blackberries, and blueberry bran muffin. Graphite and licorice extract keep the fruity nose in check, and the burgeoning power of the palate rushes from the glass. Leather and oak frame the crushed, dried violet, in a grilled herbs de Provence, bing cherry, black cherry, and currant culmination!
What a finish. Lengthy resonance is finally whittled to a raspberry point.
