First drink since finishing an antibiotic course and awaiting my root canal in a few weeks. This is zippy fresh but has enough of a bass note- it reminds of some of the amphorae matured trepat I’ve tried-so I stay interested. Also doesn’t shout summer wine. Canary Island product. Pale harvest orange-yellow, excellent clarity. Dried fruit or fruit leather notes in nose. Smoky apricot, peach flavors with a touch of salinity. Really different white; yes, a curiosity, but also a good pour. Some astringency in finish. — 7 years ago

Actually had it a week ago! Excellent chardonnay! Light and crisp and mineraly in the typical northeastern matra region style with a typical chard nose, oak nose but gives the wonderful surprise of no "buttery" feel to it. This is a beautiful example of Hungarian chardonnay in Balaton style. — 10 years ago
