A well regarded 2014 vintage lives up to the rep. Beautiful deep burgundy colour, rich balanced tannins, round black cherry fruit and tobacco and leather. Beautifully smooth throughout with long, drawn out finish. Gorgeous. — 8 years ago
Rep this wonderful vintner in China so had oodles of these bottles but this one drank so well...even with some bottle shock in Taipei! — 10 years ago
This a great showcase of a grape that doesn’t always have a good rep. Certainly on the second day this wine was showing very well rounded and harmonious characteristics. Very fruit-forward with a pleasant scent. Would definitely buy again. — 7 years ago

Needs time to breath according to the rep. Not much of a nose. Very flavorful and bold. Definitely full bodied and bold mouth feel. Strong tannins. Couldn't taste anything specific, but I did like it! — 9 years ago
Insane. Pulled from behind the counter by the bodega rep at an industry tasting (I think what I tried was actually a 40 year, not for sale commercially). Texture and acidity of reduced balsamic, salt and umami of aged soy sauce. Flavor explosion that continued to develop in the mouth for what seemed like half an hour. — 10 years ago
This wine is amazing and a real find for its $$$
This was highly recommended from my JJ Buckley rep. Lots of red fruits , mineral and spice with good structure and balance, reaching its peak drinking window and will drink well for many years. This has everything you look for in Burgundy for half of the price($76) Highly recommended! — 10 years ago
2002 Screaming Eagle. Dinner w D&M H at Rep. Awesome. Decanted just before serving. Vanilla, dark stone fruit, oak. So delicious. — 7 years ago
Almost like a rioja. Just a fab rep of Brunello from a nice vintage. Drinking beautifully. — 7 years ago
Nice balance and complexity (about 50% of the 2010 Troplong). Vanilla, raspberry on the nose and a nice juicy, jammy and plummy taste. Great merlot rep. — 8 years ago
Local store screwed up the pricing on this. The rep happened to be there and he let me know about it. Score! — 9 years ago
Great to compare with Millot. While my palate preference is in the old world, this wine delivers, and Dani prefers Machado over Millot. Supple ripe fruit from Chehalem mntns with sweet tea, wet leaves and moss underscoring the cherry berry lushness. Hints of vanilla and campfire. (About the vintage on the label: This bottle was brought to us by the supplier rep, who bottled the wine before the 2012 labels were ready.) — 9 years ago
Complex and peppery, dark cherry, spice, cola.

Unlike ice cider or frost cider made in the United States and Canada, apples are frozen using refrigeration technology meaning the frost only goes one way--in. In nature, apples will freeze, thaw, freeze partially and unfreeze partially, moving sugars throughout the apples. You'll notice a difference in style here because the producer oxidizes the cider as a way to compensate for the artificial freezing process, but it's still a delightful dessert choice on a list. A rep told me to pour it over vanilla ice cream, but I'd rather just drink it straight. Notes of oak, caramel and baked fruit, it reminds me of a dreamy blend of sherry and Madeira. — 10 years ago

Fruit forward, 🍒, raspberry, minerals, soil. Smooth drinking, rounded off with some tannins on this young wine. My bro brought it in from Laungdoc and it is a nice rep for the region, albeit on the pricier side for this super value region. I had Puech-Haut when visiting Montpelier years ago so it brought back some great memories. — 7 years ago
