Bought a case of these at release price for the sole purpose of flipping since some folks are willing to pony up for Spectators #1 of the year. But curiosity got the better of me. Had to see what a # 1 $95.00 wine taste like, you have to be kidding me😳😳, # 1 ?!!
I thought Parkers 96 for Caymus 40th was ridiculous, this takes the cake, totally lame wine — 7 years ago
Go Falcons!!
I'd love to match Parkers 95, but I have to stick with 93. This is the darkest wine I have seen. Deep purple. Looks like motor oil in the distance but the red legs let you know its juice. Nose reminds me of Round Pond with a slight (very slight) touch of VHR. Fruit definitely must be from the valley or slight elevation. Blackberries, toast, spring flower, pine, slate, & red iron dust. Touch of mocha brought out with Tiramisu. Finally opened up after 4 hours. Not sure I would buy and drink again. If I did, I would cellar for years - at least 10-20.

Eat it with a Reese's peanut butter cup. It tastes like straw berry jelly! — 9 years ago
Smooth with hints of caramel, coffee and oak — 6 years ago
16.6 Abv😳, haven’t had that kind of alc in a Cabernet since Anderson Conn valley reserve at 16.3,
Not seeing Parkers 96 points, nor the price point of over $200.00 on release, $150.00 on auction.
He calls it a Profound Cabernet from Sonoma🙄 that rivals anything from Napa.

This & the 2013 Moavani Syrah were my favorite 2013’s from Bevan, the only ones I re ordered.
Two Dogs Knoll is beneath Harlan & next to Martha’s.
Parkers review (96) says almost a split between Petit Verdot & Cabernet, but not the case.
According to Russel’s tasting video its about 90% Petit Verdot from Two Dogs & the rest is Sugar Loaf Merlot. Fantastic juice, if you can find it for $225.00 or less buy it — 7 years ago
Suprised by how much I liked it. Excellent. — 8 years ago
Nice plum with a hint of clove. Very smooth. — 9 years ago

Good after it breathes. $1.59 on sale at Ralph’s. Smooth light taste — 7 years ago
Has that ruby red pinot color unlike the normal big cabs I like, this was the most expensive out of the 6, $150.00 minus the 25% discount, so still a little over a hundred.
None were horrible, but nothing special out of the 6 this wknd either.
Should of looked at Parkers review first, 90-93,
2nd day & 2 more hours of decant really opened this up, — 8 years ago

This was from one of the barrels purchased by a small group of us from Robert Parkers wine board at the HDB auction. Bouchard was hired to make the wine. — 6 years ago
