Deep purple in color with a short purplish rim.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing blackberries, blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, herbs, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 6-year-old Malbec from Mendoza is still young, and a little harsh. I had it before and this time I let it open for a whole day.
Tangy and rich. Very extracted and a little unbalanced.

Drank too young, but paired with a very good, Calasparra based paella, this seemed like a no brainer.
Limpid ruby. Slightly gamy, cranberry, tart red fruits, soil tinged. It really began to sing after about 30 mins with air. Unfortunately, with 10 guests and only one Mag of this we were out just as the wine was hitting it's stride. — 4 years ago
The 2019 Malbec Argentino is a blend of grapes from venerable vineyards in Lunlunta and Paraje Altamira; it is essentially a premium Mendoza Malbec. A significant amount was fermented in whole bunches before spending 18 months in used French barrels. The complex nose presents notes of plum and blueberry with hints of country herb, jarilla and pennyroyal over a bed of sour cherry and cedar. There is a whiff of lavender perfume. The fine tannins act as a net that shapes rather than structures the volume. It has good energy and elasticity with grip, juicy freshness and a complex layer of fruit appearing at the back of the mouth. The 2019 is an accomplished wine in a year that allowed for nuance and freshness. (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, November 2021)

Delicious wine from the canary islands! Acidic, funky, interesting, I swear I can taste the sea air. Bought in the Hobart book village, had with shrimp scampi and clams. — 4 years ago
Revisiting a delicious Malbec from the Valle de Uco, Argentina 🇦🇷
This wine is medium purple with youthful, concentrated aromas of ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum; also dried sage, thyme, and lavender, wet earth, espresso, black licorice, peppercorn, smokiness, and game.
It is a dry wine, with medium acidity, a full body, high alcohol, medium tannins, and medium(+) intensity in flavors consistent with the nose. The finish is medium.
Evident in the purity of fruit expression, this wine has not seen oak, underwent whole cluster fermentation, and matured in a concrete egg (hence the name!).

Finca Viñoa is a blend of Treixadura (90%), Godello (3%), Albariño (5%) and Loureiro (2%). The colour is golden yellow, perhaps also because it has aged. On the palate it is however lively and fresh, with a complex edge. A bold wine with white ripe fruits, offering peach, mango and some herbs. Muy buen! — 5 years ago
Good food wine, just a bit past its prime. — 6 years ago
Fragrant strawberries on the nose, rich red fruit combined with fresh minerals on the palate, lightly spiced, dry, with a medium finish. Firm and clean, overall an excellent blend of Malbecs from neighbouring areas. — 6 years ago
