Bought this bottle 5 years ago. I really liked this wine back then but my tastes have changed a lot. I was happy that this turned out to be much more enjoyable than I thought it would. Quite nice. — 8 years ago

Nose: smells like expensive burgundy. Nutty? White flowers.
Palate: mineral. Tart.

This wine is a medium garnet in color. The somewhat muted nose offers aromas of jammy blackberries, a bit of earth, some black pepper and anise. The palate is loaded with dark fruit and cherry, with very fine tannins. It’s a smooth sip. It’s also a fresh sip, as the light touch of oak lets the grapes speak for themselves. — a year ago
Uhhh, quite the mind-blowing bottle. The finesse of this build is pure class. The oak is prominent but is a Prince Charming to Cinderella’s sweet perfect vintage fruit set. Tropical and touch floral with an amazing Meyer lemon & crème brûlée finish (that is silky/long). Top shelf build :) — 4 years ago

My fault for letting that humidity get to the red paper that wrapped the bottle. Damage only limited to the label, thankfully. Concentrated red and blue fruit. Focused on the palate with a long finish. Tannins are really integrated and this bottle is 100% pleasure! — 6 years ago
2013 a bit oaky still nice to drink — 8 years ago

1998 vintage. Not the greatest Napa vintage obviously. Nice fill. Opened and decanted. Some sed but less than expected. Tasted after 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours and 4 hours. Light-medium body. Dusty, dark plum nose. nondescript intro with a greenish finish initially. Greenish qualities faded with time and a ringing, dark cherry component took center stage. Not a hottie but desirable enough, with time. Drank nicely with balanced structure/fruit after two hours open. 7.15.26. — a month ago
