Drinking 2004, 2005 and 2006 of La Geynale. I think the last 3 vintage of Robert Michel, isn'it?
Amazing how those 3 vintages are aligned and consistent!
2004 is immediately super powerful and true. Very intense. 2005 takes a lot of time to open up. First very closed and quite a lot of alcohol vapors, bit after 3-4 hours, it's getting there, may be the more intense. 2006 is much easier, closer to northern neighbors in Hermitage or Croze Hermitage.
But still all is super consistent, and super traditional. — 9 years ago

Noisy neighbors party didn't get us down- we bounced to the Sofitel for a suite party of our own. This biodynamic blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc was perfect with room service... Lots of morel savor & classic 2004 acid and mineral drive! — 10 years ago

So good. Super second my ass. This wine is so delicious year in and out regardless of vintage. A total bargain compared to its thieving neighbors — 11 years ago

This is the new February in Baltimore. Red wine on the roof deck in 65 degrees. Neighbors helped us kill the magnum. Who really cares if the wine was great? Our life is. — 8 years ago
