Drinking great! Mucho secondary biz with cooked fruit hiding behind. Glad to have 05 and 06 waiting in the wings. #alittlebretisagoodthing

Drinking 2004, 2005 and 2006 of La Geynale. I think the last 3 vintage of Robert Michel, isn'it?
Amazing how those 3 vintages are aligned and consistent!
2004 is immediately super powerful and true. Very intense. 2005 takes a lot of time to open up. First very closed and quite a lot of alcohol vapors, bit after 3-4 hours, it's getting there, may be the more intense. 2006 is much easier, closer to northern neighbors in Hermitage or Croze Hermitage.
But still all is super consistent, and super traditional.

No decant necessary. Very open knit and showing black olive tapenade. This and the Mikulski are tied for WOTN
