Wow. This is so interesting (in a good way). My first Cali Malbec and my first Mt Brave wine. I gave this about 2 hours in a decanter and it’s just starting to open up. I’m getting a lot of red fruit and highly aromatic floral on the nose. The palate is lighter than I would have thought from the nose - it’s more medium bodied and has a lot of acid. The tannins are present but soft. Great fruitful and bright finish. This is super cool and I dig it. Chris Carpenter does it again. — 8 years ago

This is an extremely unique Pinot. A good berry, red cherry nose, but an extremely dry, old, taste. Can't really place it but a delight to drink! — 10 years ago

Franciscan is a very nice winery. Their Cab is ultra Smooth and Magnificat wine blows you away just like the charm of Mary — 10 years ago
60% Cab Franc, 25% Cab Sauv, 15% Merlot. Rich blackberry and blueberry, minerality, pronounced fruit with nice acid balance. Tannins integrated though reemerging after 2 hours before settling back. A delight. — 12 years ago
Excellent! — 13 years ago
