Bold berries up front. Dry middle. No lingering aftertaste. Great cab. — 4 years ago
Worth the hype. Complex wine that was beautiful through and through. Drank out of a 6L and took time to open. — 7 years ago
This is just a delicious brut rosé, really one of the best out there that isn’t four figures...beautiful fruit that melts on your tongue, just excellent — 7 years ago
A beautiful dry rose with great depth of flavor, texture and an incredible finish. I need to get more of this! — 8 years ago
Beautiful wine, menthol, silky fruit, hint of leather! Delicious!! — 10 years ago
Drank for Sean's birthday. Drinking very well. Beautiful, velvety tannins and acidity. Leather, earth, mushroom, red fruits. — 10 years ago
So yummy. I acquired at my most recent Napa visit. Medium bodied fruity cab. — 11 years ago
Drinking so well. Red fruits, leather, dried herbs, cedar. Lots of color still. Freshness, tannins present, beautiful acidity. Really solid. — 13 years ago
Intense red fruited aromas and flavors, a little less tannic and structured than the 2007, but this shows bracing acidity at the present time, long, lingering finish, which the incredible acid backbone lifts and lengthens, another wine to ideally drink from 25-30 years after the vintage! — 9 months ago
Well-balanced Chardonnay with green apple, pear, and crispness. Very enjoyable mix of fruit flavors and acidity. — a year ago
Last night in MT at the lake. Gave this several hours of air. Nice dark tawny color. Vibrant in the glass. The nose is great right away and stayed on point through the evening. Notes of black cherries, warm raspberries, old cedar, some plums and a little leather saddle. Rich and silky in the mouth. Velvet glove. Long finish. Great wine. — 7 years ago
One of the best cabs I've ever had....

A softened ruby color. Beautiful balance, everything in harmony. Wet earth, raspberry, cinnamon, a whiff of truffle, intoxicating nose. So much ripe, fresh red fruit on the palate. Such soft tannins, damson plum, a mineral streak running through. Drinking a 15 year old wine for 15th anniversary of diabetes. This is splendid in the moment — 9 years ago
Awesome wine. 2005 is beautiful. — 11 years ago
Terrific purity in this quintessential Napa Cab. Decanted for about 2 hrs. Dark red and blue fruit, currant, mint and fresh flowers. Powerful yet elegant. Mr Carpenter made something special at a reasonable price point. — 11 years ago

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (72%), Merlot (19%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petite Verdot (3%). Dark garnet/ruby/purple/black color. Aromas of ripe black fruit, rose petals, cigar box and smoked meat. Flavors of blackberry, black currant and black plum fruit with additional hints of tobacco, black olives and cloves. Long lasting velvety finish. Full bodied with noticeable (but well integrated) tannins. Beautiful freshness. Rich and powerful but so well balanced. Consistently outstanding vintage after vintage. Could continue to age for decades! — 9 months ago
This wine amazed me, I’ve had it before and it’s never shown this well, maybe just hitting it’s stride? Beautiful perfumed floral nose ( never thought I would say that about a Dunn), exquisite balance, the fruit is slightly sweet, the tannins are fully integrated and refined, with just the right amount of acid in the finish. I would never guess mountain fruit or let alone Dunn if tasted blind. Can’t wait to try it again in a couple of years. — 8 years ago

Elegant. Tannins are still firm. Stewed fruits, leather, currants, cassis. Some forest floor. Beautiful wine. — 10 years ago
Tasted 2005 - photo is of different tasting. Tasting notes 2005: Absolutely to die for. Perfect tannic structure, ripe and round
Could age 20 more years but still wonderful
North of medoc and you'd expect deep and dark, but actually the most feminine and elegant and beautiful of poulliac wines
Black currants
Balanced finish
Not overpowering at all — 10 years ago
Beautiful fruit and soft tannins. Opens up over a 3 hr period. Amazing with a nice steak and French onion soup. — 11 years ago
A touch thin, but it was simply beautiful and floral with some black tea leaf. — 12 years ago

Mellow and delicious. Toffee and coffee notes mixed with a faded blackberry jam. — 13 years ago

2010 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes and 1.5 hours. Light-medium/medium body. Silky, supple and supremely beautiful-for Bordeaux. Regal closure on a lengthy finish. So much attention to detail without it being overtly obvious. Exceptional beauty and a fave, cutting edge BDX producer-along with Durfort-Vivens in Margaux to taste the possibilities of the region. For Pauillac, nearly as gorgeous as Pichon-Lalande...a very close second. This was so stunning. 12.5.25. — 7 months ago
