Once again confirming that this is one of my favourite reds ever. Austere purple fruit, but theres a definite ethereal quality to this wine. Crunchy autumn leaves, pink peppercorn, tobacco. This wine is pretty. Rivals anything from the Savoie. *mic drop* — 3 years ago
“Oh my god what is this wine?!” - Sam — 4 years ago
These three were bright, vital and loaded with life. Served blind to a table of 11, the closest guess of their vintages was ‘13-‘15. They have such a long life ahead - 2004, 2005, 2006. — 5 years ago
Light bodied with little finish. Bright, fruity, and bitter — 6 years ago
Great Chignin. Fairly light body, ruby color, peppery. I opened it this morning for cooking and am highly tempted to drink before noon. Also good value -- not expensive. — 7 years ago
Cherries & pine. First wine we’ve tried from Savoie. Loved it, reminded us of what we love in reds from the Loire. — 3 years ago
Loved the description on the website saying “It's the wild and mysterious light-bodied red that makes Pinot Noir taste like a Republican.” So true. Light chillable red. Cherry blood orange acidity hint of pepper and wet stones. No “funk” here just subtle earthy delight. — 5 years ago
A beautiful dry rose with great depth of flavor, texture and an incredible finish. I need to get more of this! — 6 years ago
Honeysuckle and lilac, not sweet but light and spring flowers. — 7 years ago
Very interesting blend of grapes! 41.5% Gros Manseng, 37% Sauvignon Gris, 13% Savagnin, 8.5% Mondeuse Blanche. Pretty aromatics of jasmine, lemon zest, and white flowers and a nice straw color to the wine. The pallet is high in acid, and full of bright citric fruits, creme fresh, lime, and light mineral tones to the finish. Would be lovely with oysters - not a wine you'd expect from Bordeaux necessarily but the Sauvignon Gris brings it back home. — 7 years ago
Solid wine, great resto, excellent combo. Nicely aromatic, medium bodied with good mouth presence. Wild berry on the attack with heaps of spice on the finish. Crunchy ,forest, mineral finish. Lively, vibrant, fresh. Great energy. Memorable evening, lovely wine. — 3 years ago
One of the best roses I’ve had in a while (and in the perfect setting). Vibrant, textural and expressive with watermelon, cherry, hibiscus and a touch of garrigue. It’s a shame I didn’t get a photo with the actual juice because the deep almost magenta color was 💣 but the bottle didn’t last long enough... — 4 years ago
A fantastic wine. Crunchy fruit, peppery spice, and some lovely dry, mellow tannins. Giving the best natty guys from Europe a run for it. — 5 years ago
A year of violets. — 5 years ago
Very happy to try this unusual alpine grape. Aroma presents straightforwardly fruity at first, with notes of cranberry and wild raspberry, but with time develops some mineral funk, some gamey/muskiness, and some vegetal characteristics. Medium tannins, medium+ juicy acidity. For me, this sits somewhere between a Cru Beaujolais and a Loire Cab Franc. Nice! — 7 years ago
Fresh, floral, mineral-tinged raspberry and lingonberry. This is just fun and who really cares about anything else? — 7 years ago

Beautiful floral nose, tart red fruit, slightly pétillant, earthy and wild 😜 — 9 months ago
