A tad mossy with a hint of oak. Feels like a velvet room within a cave on feathers. Definitely would recommend. — 9 years ago
Smooth with a hint of spice. Yum. — 12 years ago
Crappy start at Scrabble but at least the wine was great. — 8 years ago
09' Myrid Beckstoffer Dr Crane. Love that dark brick color to it. A slight bit of heat. Decanting this was the key. Full- bodied. The nose-Expressive licorice, floral/flowers, just sells it for me. Front of the palate you get nice chunk of ripened strawberries. Middle & back of the palate- Primarily black fruits, with a splash of blueberry. BIG/full & smooth finish. Love the vineyard. Cheers to Mike Smith for this gem of a wine. — 9 years ago
Tasty and subtle. Not too sweet, not too dry. — 9 years ago
Beautiful. Strong tannins to the nose, yet the middle is light and smooth, finished with a balanced, less than velvety taste. A lot of tabacco, bold after it opens up. — 10 years ago
A blend I couldn't have made a preconceived notion of (37% Grenache Blanc, 37% Albariño, 26% Verdelho). All parts played beautifully & the co-ferment creates a singular wine of character & finesse, but one which delivers flavor & depth along with great White wines from the corresponding global regions. Stunning. — 11 years ago
Flat out delicious. — 11 years ago
Really drinking nicely after 6 years. — 9 years ago
Good wine! Not too sweet, not too dry. Pretty good. Not my favorite wine ever, but a nice, cheap and enjoyable wine! — 9 years ago
Super sweet but delicious — 10 years ago
A perfect Red for those looking to expand their wine from sweet whites like moscato...there isn't that dry kick back you get from most reds...this one is a sweet wine with a grape juice texture to it... — 10 years ago
1986. Day 1 was charming out of the gate, then ultimately showed its oak and structure and a sort of pine quality. Preferred Haut-Batailley. Day 2 had sufficiently mellowed but still felt a little down the middle somehow. Cool side by side — 11 years ago

An expanse of fruit, down the middle of Cabernet profile. A kiss of dust and leather on the nose to remind you it was harvested 26 years ago. Amazing fruit, cocoa, acid, balance. The finish is nearly two minutes. Just try not to smile. Happy Mother's Day! — 8 years ago
