My favorite non-nitro stout. Flavor notes are perfect and well balanced. It’s what stouts of this variety should aspire to be — 8 years ago

Awesome experience a 1991 Caymus Special Selection. Upon opening showing good fruit in the nose. Tannins have dissipated. Thought it might be over the hill? No Way! Tried with WW staff. A gift from Dr Bill! You know who you are. Great 25 yr old bottle of Cab! Big Wow! — 10 years ago
Use to be my go to summer brew in AA. This is my first 2015 and it's almost October. Shame on me. — 11 years ago
Um yeah... #BOOM status granted for this at the #yulwinethrowdown . 81 not the best of vintages and wines are reportedly past peak but this first growth was not. Very interesting flavour profile, certainly secondary characteristics but structurally still pretty sound. I was glad to find it still alive and in my opinion had many more years left before the big decline. Awesome privilege to have tasted. — 11 years ago
crisp and dry with a tart apple finish — 12 years ago

One of the most overhyped beers ever! — 10 years ago
Big hype about this beer, as is "Hop Slam" this one much easy to get, in fact, in CA you can get in many places all the time, price is reasonable too, just check the bottled or canned on dates since it travels far, solid IPA, really nothing new or different, just done very well in the style, if you like your IPA's balanced between malt and hops, like Dogfish then this is perfect fit you, not for me, I prefer the hops be the "Show" but I am not knocking the Beer for that, just I think it is a little over rated — 10 years ago
delicate, but awesome beauty. Pretty awesome finish with finesse. Delicious. — 10 years ago

Velvety & spicey makes for an awesome balance on the palate. — 12 years ago
What?!? This is so good! I won’t describe all the briar, graphite and brooding dark fruit, because it is just more accurate to say this is just freaking awesome! — 8 years ago
Awesome wine provided by my buddy @Kirk Alexander . absolutely beautiful. My favorite tonight. I think all of those drinking each had a favorite! — 10 years ago

Awesome wine for dessert after a filling meal. Great way to finish a great night out! — 10 years ago
What a treat. From the company to the antics of the cork removal, all was fantastic. Not surprised with some immediate mustiness on the nose, giving way to a rich but smooth aged blue cheese, mushrooms, soy sauce, earth, and just a faint hint of dried red fruit. Over the next 20 minutes the glass development was out of control, changing with each and every whiff and sip. Earthy umami, oxidative, and and slightly stewed reds to begin quickly opened to nice dried strawberries on the palate and nose, and advancing to moderately subdued ripened strawberries and cranberries- after 61 years and still kickin with fruit! Amazing. Then after about 20 minutes of rapid metamorphosis, it gave in and decided to fade to a very pleasant sipper...awesome. — 11 years ago
Awesome wine still very much alive. Very effervescent , crisp. Long finish. Can last another 10 years. — 12 years ago
