Sister in law opened this for me at her girls party. So good. — 3 years ago
12.5%. Very very good. Hint of brett - tart and closed. But boy is this complex. Earthy, Kashmir red pepper, perhaps even a hint of tomatoes 🍅. Orange bitters on the back palate. Like silk much better than many Burgs I had in the last six months. From Max Kogod and I will buy the last bottle and the other cuvée from this producer best Trousseau I had in a long time! — 6 years ago

Maybe I’m not objective because of such fond memories of smelling this in the tank and tasting its two predecessors en barrique with Hubert on our honeymoon. But I can’t imagine this being any better than it was last night on our 25th anniversary. — 7 months ago
2024/9/1-2. This is traditional red Burgundy in the best way (for my taste) - red-fruited, limpid red, acid and mineral balanced by sweet fruit that flirts with being not quite enough — 8 months ago
2024/8/13-14. I don’t know that I actually prefer this to the regular Volnay at this stage; this is more dense, but at this point that manifests as a bit of dried, even raisiny fruit at times. There is still that elegant red fruit essence and a slightly rose-like floral note , though — 9 months ago
2022 vintage. Medium body. Less mineral investment than expected but came on all cylinders on a really long finish. A fave Chablis producer and I really wanted to say no since I def don’t need Chablis currently but the truth/quality overcame the reluctance/barriers. 7.10.24. — 10 months ago
Tout est fondu, c’est équilibré, rien à redire si ce n’est un petit manque de complexité. J’ai adoré la finesse — 6 years ago
