Pear notes, lemon and creamy pallet, pineapple on the finish. Very smooth. Bottled sunshine — 7 years ago
2018 Fall dinner for the Confrerie St Etienne.
Had no idea this type of dessert wine existed. Comes from the Rasteau region of southern France. 100% Grenache. There is definitely a typical spice note to the finish which I always get with Grenache. Grilled strawberries and cherries jubilee. Very unique dessert wine. — 7 years ago

Tonight I'm in a New York state of mind with one of my favorite wines crafted by Hudson-Chatham Winery, the 2013 Field Stone Baco Noir Old Stones & Old Vines, Masson Place Vineyards, Pulteney Farm (ABV 12%). I reviewed this one back in August 2015 on my blog. It remains outstanding, an exceptional example of Baco Noir which expresses its Hudson-Berkshire Beverage Trail area roots, literally, with aromas and flavors of tart cherry and plum accompanied by crushed rock and earthy minerality, lingering spice, and juicy, mouthwatering acidity. Pair this with nearly any food. — 9 years ago
Perfect match with raclette. Bright, crisp acid. — 6 years ago
Harder on the nose than in the mouth. Not much fruit. More licorice and then coffee. — 7 years ago

A stoney minerally. Slight fruitiness and lost the acidity with the age. Well balanced. — 7 years ago

Smooth and amber colored. Tastes of fig and it's sweet — 9 years ago
This was a super fun contribution from my birth year bro @romo. Bright garnet in the glass, a slight funk bouquet of sweaty bramble and ample cherry fruit and licorice. This is totally all there but we consumed it so quickly it’s tough to tell if it would have faded as the night progressed. — 6 years ago
Quite light colour, touch of green even in the rim still. Mineral and crustacean shells, some white stone fruit also. Very much alive. The palate continues along the same theme , mineral driven , notes of the sea and the cool , peach flavours . Reasonable length and nicely balanced, complex also, certainly comes across as younger than 19 which is a credit to itself . Quite satisfying — 7 years ago
