Bit of bottle variation but this was back to fantasticness... — 8 years ago
I just opened a 2007 Mas Sainte Berthe Le Baux de Provence varietal, purchased in that village in 2009. It is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cabernet. Excellent medium bodied, very smooth to palate. Accompanied a halibut fish dish. Tom and Dorie Ockenden — 10 years ago
Bright fruit with hints of game, olives, stems. Hits way above its price point ( a K&L bargain… I love a bargain!) — 8 months ago

Just what you want in a balanced weeknight red. Pretty and fruity nose shows bright dark red berries, spice, and subtle crushed stone. Fairly full in the mouth, with darker fruit than the nose shows, and some savory garrigue notes. Acids are low but not too low, and there’s a bit of tannin for structure. Only 14.5% (which is one reason I tried it). Nice with beef chow fun take-out! — 5 days ago
