On the palate flavors of blackberry and blueberry fruit with licorice, cacao, leather and oak, well balanced. Fine ripe tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and spice. A pleasure to drink. Pale lemon in colour. Herbal, with a bit of petrol, and lime on the nose. Fresh sage, gooseberry, and soft fennel notes on the palate. Medium acidity with the fennel/licorice lingering on the palate,coming around to ripe mandarins. — 5 years ago
