2010. It's a big Pinot but it has aged gracefully and has many years of worthy drinking ahead of it. — 8 years ago
This is a fantastic old vine zinfandel! Wasn't familiar with the vineyard but would absolutely get something from Mara in the future! Bold, black fruit flavor that won't double your check.

Had with Loic, Tina, loic's brother and Tina's friend Xander, daveed, chez nous for picnic. A bit peillant initially but as it opened up it had amazing structure, subtle but rich flavor, not juicy at all. Would have again after airing it out a bunch. — 9 years ago

Preparing for Napa. Best Cab had in a long time. Silky, with blackberry, black pepper, coffee, and dark plum. Great finish and acidity. thanks @Tina Dickinson — 10 years ago
Very smooth Pinot. Held on after opening for a slightly tart finish. Even held it's own against some very sweet melon that we had for dessert. — 11 years ago

Somm friend said it was bonkers good and that all her natural-wine friends were head-over-heels for this selection. Really juicy red fruit, almost effervescent. Def tastes like a natural wine--maybe some carbonic.
