Yum yum yum cinnamon and chocolate — 6 years ago
Surprising wine. Very thick mouth feel, almost like a syrup. Tastes like a cross between a ruby & and tawny Port. Really long finish with chocolate at the end. Nice. — 7 years ago
Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. Easily the best wine I’ve had from Maple Vineyard. This is Zin! — 7 years ago
Always my favorite of the varietals. The depth and complexity of flavors astounding. Super maple, carmel toast aromas. — 8 years ago
Sticky, yellow raisins, maple syrup, no bite, maple syrup and half lemon/half lime, nice phenols and butterscotch, what a nice dessert wine — 8 years ago
Amarone on the nose. Raisins, prunes on the nose. The palate is an uncontrolled explosion of fruit. Deep, dark berries, maple syrup, spice. @Martin G Rivard — 9 years ago
Hot to the nose. Layered with fruit, slight vanilla and maple then boozy. I think the vanilla can be stronger if you let it sit a few minutes. — 6 years ago

Fantastic Zin, alspicey goodness with some heat — 6 years ago
Little staining, moderate plus to elevated concentration. Bright ruby with a garnet rim. Rosemary, clove, thyme, game, leather, and sanguine. Cinnamon & nutmeg, tea leaves, and a tough of mint. Iodine, agave/syrup on the palate. A prolonged sweet and savory finish of elevated acidity and moderate smooth tannins. — 7 years ago
Full-on Napa strip tease, with all the assets on show. Jam compote, coffee and maple syrup. So extravagant, it’s obscene. As @Carl Fischer described it, “an embarrassment of riches.”
Gifted by @Carl Fischer. Thank you kind sir. — 7 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Found another ‘15, a blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah & Grenache and aged for 10 months on French oak (40% new). Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits, cedar and sweet spice. On the palate, ripe plums, jammy blueberries and sweet cherry with slight oak and vanilla spice, pours like syrup. Lingering finish, good length allowing the soft tannins to open in your mouth. Good structure, great mouthfeel, ending with pure fruit and dash of minerality, drinks well now. Produced with 12 different labels. Wow! — 6 years ago
