On the palate flavors of ripe apple and pear with slight citrus and nutty notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral nutty character. Alto Adige on full display with tart bitterness of pitted fruits and slate. Lush tropical notes and a hint of vanilla (the Chard?) round out the frame. Not much of a finish to speak of.
