Nose, I'm in love! If there was such a thing as a cherry with rose petal that was actually a rock and you could eat it without losing all your teeth or you're a Rock Biter, this is that wine!
Palate...cherry, cherry and did I mention cherry? Oh Nebbiolo how I love thee. Baking spice, anise, oh the palate is continually changing, I'm confused and over joyed, god damn life is complicated, or is it easy?
Paired this bottle with 4+ hour, slow/low grilled spare ribs and Brahms 7th Symphony, amazballs as my buddy would say!

This is best bottle of roccia Rossa I’ve ever had. So amazing. Nose of cigar, roses, so so old school. Licorice, mineral, loam, floral. So gorgeous, amazing sweet fruit, red and so pure. Velvety. So complex. Sweet tannins. Spices. Just so firm and insane. Amazing fruit sweet. — 5 years ago
