Subtle pleasant fizz bit of tannin — 7 months ago
Deep ruby rose color, with violet hints over a medium body. Nose is rich, with rose petal, orange peel, peppery hints and maybe some baked rhubarb or berry jam with hints of pine and wet wood. The palate is vanilla, rose, raspberry compote, and beautifully integrated tannin that grip but don’t dry, with big meaty, almost jerky like notes that linger for a long time, with a taste of bbq sauce on the finish. — 9 months ago
2015 vintage Chianti Gran Selezione.
80 % Sangiovese, 13 % Merlot and 7 % Malvasia Nera.
Deep dark ruby red.
Perfumed nose with black currants, violets, olives and cocoa.
Ripe black plums, leather, black tea with polished silky tannins.
A long, beautiful finish. — 3 years ago
Amazing color. Peach, apricot, iced tea. A little nail polish on the nose too. Got some grip. High acidity. — 5 years ago

Nice complexity. Some lemon citrus but with a floral fruity base. — 6 months ago
Pours a copper-gold color that will immediately make you wonder if this has been oxidized, but apparently that's the style. Like their reds, they seem to turn everything up to 11 in Montefalco.
After decanting in the glass, aromas of toffee, white flowers, almonds, bitter oranges, and minerals. Very funky and interesting, but not something I'd hand innocent wine drinkers. — 7 months ago
My favorite wine in the hot summer! Perfect and floral and perfumey. — 5 years ago
Excellent, almost basque cider like gentle tart. Straw yellow haze, probably some skin contact. — 5 years ago
Easy to drink. Light. Right. Dark cherry notes. — 4 months ago
Wonderful orange Malvasia di Candia Aromatica. Minerals, acidity, herbs, — 8 months ago
Zesty and lively, this Croatian white pops with citrus, white peach, and almond notes. A great foil for rotisserie chicken and a warm early-summer evening. 100% Malvazija. 6/12/22. — 3 years ago
A pure delight summer sipper. Medium weight, nice crisp texture. I am falling in love with a few Sonoma Italian blends. Clean, largely unoaked, food-friendly wines that let the food shine while elevating fruit, acid, alcohol to a whole new level. Perfect for the first 90+ Chicago summer day. — 5 years ago
